DISCLAIMER: I was strongly advised against doing anything other than standing and posing with the bow. Especially not trying to do a mid-jump pose with it. But, when I have an idea in my head I generally am deaf to all advice, but that's because I am an idiot and parttime applicant for the Darwin Awards. DO NOT TRY THAT AT HOME.
I'm not going to lie to you, I was gutted when I had to take those ears off. But, I only did so several hours after the shoot. I was so excited to do it aswell, the costume isn't the best, cause the majority of it I made myself. I was annoyed that the collar didn't stay upright, but I did buy only very cheap material. It didn't help that I only got a new sewing machine until the night before this shoot. The old one finally packed in and gave up the fight (I googled the serial number aswell. Half of that tunic was made using a 76year old Singer.) The boots and the vambraces were made completely by hand.
I was told not to unless needed because fingers on arrow when letting loose is bad. i have had a grand total of one lesson. so im not perfect. didn't feel like making that a disclaimer for all the fussy people out there.
thanks!
